A Federal Appeals Court on Friday, November 27, trashed efforts by the Trump campaign to change the outcome of the US presidential election.

CNN reports that the campaign’s appeal alleging voting irregularities was denied by the Third Circuit Court of Appeals for lacking evidence.

President Trump and his allies have been questioning the legitimacy of the election that saw Joe Biden elected as the next American president.

The three-judge panel that gave the ruling pointed out that the allegations had already been rejected by multiple state judges in Pennsylvania.

The court stated that the Trump campaign saying the US presidential election is unfair does not mean the allegation is true.

One of the judges, Stephanos Bibas said: “Charges of unfairness are serious. But calling an election unfair does not make it so. Charges require specific allegations and then proof. We have neither here”

The judges noted that the campaign could not prove that any ballot was fraudulent or cast by an illegal voter nor could it show that Trump’s votes were treated worse than Biden its votes.
