Nollywood stakeholder, Peace Anyiam-Osigwe is dead.
Anyiam-Osigwe, the founder of Africa Movies Academy Awards, (AMAA), reportedly died at St. Nicolas Hospital, Lagos.
Anyiam-Osigwe was declared dead on Monday, January 9, after being in a coma since Saturday, January 7.
Her demise was announced by popular movie maker, Zik Zulu.
“Our President, Peace, has passed. As at Saturday, she was reported to be in coma at Saint Nicholas. But now her family has confirmed her transition. May the memory of her life be a blessing. Rest in peace, dear Peace,” he reportedly wrote on a Nollywood platform.
Movie producer, Obi Emelonye also confirmed the passing of Anyiam-Osigwe on his social media handles.
The deceased was also President of the Association of Movie Producers, (AMP).
