P-Square, Wande Coal, Patoranking gather for Industry Nite





It was a gathering of some of Nigerian’s biggest names in the music and entertainment industry as weekly showbiz networking event – Industry Nite hosted urban and lifestyle radio station, Beat 99.9 FM as it marked its 5th anniversary.

Held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014  at the Spice Route, Victoria Island  witnessed a large turnout of  celebrities, artists, business executives, top  media personalities and fans alike who came out  in their numbers to celebrate with the radio station.

To kick off the night’s activities were  Dj’s for the night; Dj Spinall, Dj Caise and Dj Snatch who didn’t disappoint as they took  turns  to thrill guests, as they dished out hits upon hits to the delight of music lovers in attendance.

The night witnessed over 20 performances from artists present  such as Olamide, Saeon, Harrysongz, Patoranking ,Black Magic, Skales, Wande Coal, Jaywon, Tekno, Blink, Shaydee to mention a few.

Invited guests were also not left out as the showered encomiums on the station for its achievements thus far.

 “In barely 5 years they’ve come to be a household name in the broadcasting business and surpassed  expectations, so I commend and encourage them to keep the flag flying as this is just the beginning of new things to come” said Producer TY Mix.

I came out here to simply show my support to the Beat FM and also party with some of my colleagues I have not seen in a while” said wande coal.

Commenting also On air personality Tolu Oniru, Toolz said “Looking here today you can see the place is packed with people, that shows you the kind of love Lagos has for us. It’s evident that we are on right path and can only improve better in the years to come.”

The event also afforded many listeners and fans of the station the opportunity to mingle with some of the radio presenters and celebrities present.

Celebrities in attendance included  P-Square, Lynxxx, Latasha Ngwube, Wande Coal, Iyanya, Dj Neptune, Show Dem Camp, Ty Mix ,Olu Maintain, Uti Nwachukwu, Sound Sultan ,Vector, Latasha Ngwube, General Pype, Capital Femi, Bracket, Dammy Krane, Loose Kaynon, Harrysong , Skuki, Ketchup, Samklef, Emma Nyra amongst many more.

The event was put together by El Carnaval, YSG Hubs, and Smirnoff.
