Yoruba activist, Sunday Igboho, has been declared wanted by the Oyo State Government.
This is not in isolation from the one-week ultimatum he gave to Fulani herdsmen located in Igangan community, Ibarapa East Local Government area of Oyo State.
Recall that Igboho had accused the herdsmen of the killings and kidnappings in the community, asking them to vacate the locality.

Addressing youths in the community, Igboho said, “They started deploying soldiers here since yesterday (Thursday). When our people were being kidnapped and killed, there was no soldier to be deployed to secure them.
On Friday, Igboho and his supporters reportedly kept their promise to the herdsmen, as they attacked their settlement leaving at least two people dead.
Reacting to the development, the Oyo State PPRO, Mr. Olugbenga Fadeyi, said, “Tactical police teams with Operation Burst are on ground to give maximum security protection while efforts are on to ascertain the situation there.”
Meanwhile, the state Governor, Seyi Makinde, had earlier warned those fuelling ethnic crisis in the state to desist from such act.
