Osibajo to commission BUA Cement Plant in Edo

The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osibanjo will today commission the BUA (Obu) Cement Plant, a subsidiary of BUA Group in Okpella, Etsako East Local Government Area, of Edo state.

The $600 million 3mmtpa plant which is one of the most technologically advanced in the world will be commissioned alongside other top government functionaries, National Assembly members, State Governors, top business personalities and traditional rulers.

BUA Group is a leading Foods & Infrastructure conglomerate in Nigeria with diversified investments spanning key business sectors of the Nigerian economy.

Established in 1988 by founder and industrialist, Abdulsamad Rabiu, BUA Group has steadily grown over the years to entrench its place as a leading player with holdings in cement, steel, sugar, agribusiness, rice, real estate, edible oils as well as port operations.
