British parliamentarian, Mrs. Hellen Grant, has revealed the huge trade and investment opportunities a partnership between Nigeria and the United Kingdom can bring.
Mrs. Grant, who spoke in a statement released on Twitter on Monday, October 5, said that the United Kingdom (UK), is entering a new and exciting age for British trade around the world.
According to her, opportunities for increased trade and investment between the UK and Nigeria are enormous.
She tweeted: “Honoured to be appointed @BorisJohnson’s Trade Envoy to Nigeria. We are entering a new and exciting age for British trade around the world and the opportunities for increased #trade and #investment between the #UK and #Nigeria are enormous. I can’t wait to get started!”
The MP who was elected into office in 2010, is one of the three MPs recently appointed by UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson to join his trade envoy to Nigeria.
Mrs Grant is a British parliamentarian and was elected in 2010. Grant ‘s father is a Nigerian and her mother is a British citizen. She was born in London, England on 28 September 1961. She is a solicitor and was elected on the platform of British Conservative Party. Grant’s Alma mater is University of Hull, where she obtained her law degree.
