All is set for the second anniversary of one of the richest monarchs in Nigeria, Oba Kazeem Adeshina Salami (Ilufemiloba I).
The Osobia of Makun Omi is set to mark his second year of ascending the throne of his forefathers in his newly built multi-million Naira palace located at Ijebu Waterside, Makun, Ogun State.
The chain of events to celebrate the anniversary kicked off on Monday, May 17th, and will climax on Saturday, May 22.
Events to mark the anniversary of the ever-stylish monarch include the celebration of the Makun-Omi Festival called ‘Okosi Day’.
Top personalities in and outside the community will also be bestowed with chieftaincy titles, while a football competition will also be a part of the event to celebrate the anniversary.
Other highlights of the celebration include a beauty pageant tagged ‘Miss Osobia Beauty Pageant’, while a special prayers session will hold on Friday, May 21st.
The climax of the anniversary celebration holding on Saturday, May 22nd will boast of some of the most important personalities in Nigeria including the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, Senator Lekan Mustapha, His Royal Majesty, Oba Babatunde Olaogun Ogunlaja Aladeshonyin of Odo Nofirija, Dr. Oluwatoyin, Ogun State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Toyin Taiwo, Deputy Minority whip, Hon. Adesegun Adekoya (attacker) among several others.
