N100 Being Collected By Policemen On Roads Is Embarrassing, Police Spokesperson, Adejobi Says

Spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, (NPF), ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has said the act of police officers collecting N100 or any amount from motorists across the country is totally embarrassing.
Adejobi also said that the act does not in any way portray the police force in a good light.
While responding to a question by an X user on why police officers demand and collect such money from motorists, Adejobi said it is unacceptable and is a case of pure corruption.
He stated that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) has since initiated a monitoring team to curb this unacceptable act of the officers.
