My Headies Stage Flop Not My Fault, Says Niniola
Niniola, whose album ‘This Is Me’ received positive reviews when it was released in 2017, disappointed her fans when she performed on the stage of the 2018 Headies.
Known for her sexy performances and her music skill, attendees of the award had hoped to be treated to good music when she was announced by the compeer as the next act of the night.
However, they were disappointed by her performance, which went from drab to a total flop.
In several Twitter posts, she explained why her flop should be thrown in the direction of the award organisers, blaming them for announcing her as a performer when her song was only meant to be played with dancers dancing to it.
In the post, Niniola explained that she was shocked at the announcement, but had to honour the organisers of the award, hence she took to stage.
According to her, she wasn’t dressed for the stage neither did she rehearse, blaming poor organisation for what happened.
