Music pundits in Nigeria have collectively disagreed on the fact that Davido is the best thing to happen to the Nigerian music industry.
In a Twitter post, a fan of the singer stated that the DMW boss was a blessing to the industry for bringing young artistes to the limelight.
He wrote: “Davido remains the best thing that ever happened to the Nigerian music industry. He brought the likes of Mayorkun, Peruzzi, Zlatan, Dremo and Yonda to the limelight. His support for other artists is second to none. He has made the most hits as far as Nigerian music concerned.”
However, Davido’s achievements seemed vague in the eyes of music pundits who believe that he is far from being the best thing to happen to the Nigerian music industry.
