Talk of one woman in the government of President Muhammadu Buhari who is currently under fire and the name Kemi Adeosun is likely to be mentioned.
Adeosun is presently struggling to prove her abilities, as her reputation continues to regress like the Nigerian economy.
Similar to when she was nominated as Minister, her detractors are back with criticisms and talks of her inexperience.
This time, Adeosun’s woes have not been helped by Senator Dino Melaye’s recent statement that Adeosun, Budget and National Planning Minister, Senator Udoma Udo Udoma and the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, (CBN), Godwin Emefiele should be sacked as a consequence of their inability to jointly put together the necessary policies that could arrest the nation’s economy from further sliding into recession.
Only time will tell what becomes of Adeosun’s office as Minister of Finance.
