More corpse have been recovered from River Anam where a boat capsized killing four actors including Junior Pope.

The corpse that have now been recovered includes that of the Sound Engineer, Precious, and makeup artiste Abigail Frederick.

After the boat mishap, two bodies including that of Junior Pope were immediately recovered, however, the bodies of Precious, Abigail and the camera man were missing.
Precious’ body was later recovered on Thursday, April 11.
The latest update was given by movie producer, Stanley, who gave the update on his Instagram page.
Nollywood filmmaker and Chairman, of the Akwa-Cross Chapter of the Directors’ Guild of Nigeria (DGN) Moses Eskor also revealed that Abigail Frederick was buried at the river bank because her parents couldn’t afford the cost of sacrifice to the river goddess which cost N150,000 and the ambulance to bring her body home.
Eskor said that he was able to raise the sum of N310, 000. N200,000 out of the donation was used to convey her parents to Asaba and back home.
“Transportation alone cost them N200,000. They couldn’t afford a sacrifice of over N150,000. And the ambulance to bring back Abigail,” he wrote.
He has since taken down the posts after receiving backlash.
