Former Chocolate City artiste Ice Prince has revealed that his monster hit song Oleku wasn’t just a hit, adding that it was a turning point.

The artist, whose real name is Panshak Henry Zamani, revealed this much during a recent interview.

He described the experience that the song brought him as “unbelievable,” recalling how the track took him across the continent.

“I’m going to Kenya, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Ghana, Cameroon… South Africa. God is great,” Ice Prince added.

The talent who also has credit for songs such as ‘Super Star’, ‘Chocolate City Cypher’, ‘Normal Day’, and many others noted that behind that success was over a decade of unseen hustle.

“I was in the studio for 11 straight years. No school, no real job. I was helping out in the studio, and even became the studio manager at one point.” He added that after years of grinding, God finally picked up the call.
