Thespian, Mercy Aigbe, has reacted following speculations that she advised young girls to be side chicks of married men.
In a YouTube video posted on her channel, Aigbe had been heard advising young girls dating married men to get as much money as they could from such men.
“If you are a side chic to a married man, Girl, you are better be cashing out. Secure the bag, get that dough, get that money because that man isn’t yours. Sis, he isn’t yours. He belongs to another woman so please it had better be worth it. Don’t go and collect chocolate and flowers as gifts from a married man oh.
“If you do, your head needs to be examined. If you are dating a married man, chop his money, collect his money because that man is already married. So stupid girls will be dating a married man will be doing love…sis he is not yours. He belongs to another woman so use your brain,” Aigbe had said.
Denying the allegation despite a transcript of her comment on camera, she stated that she would never encourage girls to be side chicks to either married or single men, adding that she was quoted out of context as the particular part of the video trending was a part of a full clip cut off by ”mischievious persons.”

According to the actress, the video shared on Valentine’s Day was meant to be a fun video for every one to laugh and also get her message. She also stated that she was encouraging married men to stay faithful to their wives because if they don’t, they will get extorted by their side chicks.
In recent years, Aigbe, has been very controversial sharing insinuative pictures, while the source of her wealth has been severally questioned. The fair-complexioned lady is known to own a multi-million Naira home, while maintaining a luxurious boutique. She is also known to travel abroad often, a lifestyle known to be above her pay grade.
She reportedly walked out on her marriage with socialite Lanre Gentry following physical abuse, however, there are those who believe that she walked out of her marriage in order to be independent and free of any control.
Aigbe presently has two children, a daughter in her earlier life and out of wedlock, while she had a son with her estranged husband, Gentry.
