Temi Adeyemi, a British-Nigerian girl will fly the flag of London when she steps out as Miss London at the Miss England beauty pageant.
Adeyemi’s chance to compete as Miss London in the Miss England beauty pageant came after the original winner, Natasha Beresford dropped out of the race to be a bridesmaid at her best friend’s wedding.
Beresford, was stripped of her Miss London crown and Adeyemi the first runner up was given the nod to represent London in Miss England comtest.
Adeyemi, 26, an accounts assistant from Enfield, Middlesex was quoted as saying, “I was hoping to enter the Miss England Final make up free to embrace natural beauty.
“For me, it’s an empowering statement. It’s also an honour for me to represent London. I’m so excited.”
