The songs so far released by Mavin Record’s Dija might still be a handful, but the artiste has been able to show she has some promise.
With songs such as Yaro, Awww and her showing in Dorrobucci which also had Mavin Record’s first lady Tiwa Savage on parade no doubt Dija has been able to give her contemporaries a head up.
With her showing in the afore listed songs and other collaborations Dija is giving other female artistes such as Seyi Shay, Cynthia Morgan, Niyola, Yemi Alade among others a wakeup call.
Her single titled Awww produced by ace beat maker Don Jazzy has been described byJohnny Drille, as amazing.
Dija, made her debut in the Nigerian music scene when she dropped Yaro, a song which has some Hausa and Krio in it. While the Hausa lyric gaves credence to her lineage in Nigeria, the Krio represented a sign of loyalty to her Sierra Leonean roots.
