Man United Doles Out $97M For Harry Maguire
Manchester United will pay a whopping $97m for Leicester City defender, Harry Maguire.
According to Sky Sports, the clubs have agreed on a deal that will see Maguire switching from being a fox to a devil in red.
The deal will make the defender the most expensive in football history, topping the $91 Liverpool spent on Virgil van Dijk 18 months ago.
26 year-old Maguire will be expected to help the Red Devils with his physically imposing presence and great distribution, something he knows how to do well.
Manchester United won the race for Maguire’s signature ahead of Manchester City who was also reportedly interested in him.
The defender however still needs to agree to personal terms and pass his medical to complete the deal.
