Christianity has gone beyond mere prayer or deliverance, as empowerment is now a main part of it.
This much was demonstrated recently at the international headquarters of Liberation City located at Ojodu Berger, Lagos State, when the church play host to the Little Saint Orphanage Home.
Speaking before support materials were handed over to the guests, the Senior Pastor of Liberation City, Dr. Chris Okafor said it is the right of the children to be able to get standard education like all other children, he said it not their fault that they have met themselves in that condition. He advised Christians to respond to the need of those set of children.
Furthermore, Dr. Okafor said Christianity is beyond mere praying but giving help to the needy, he pray for the children and challenges Nigerians to emulate what the church has done to put smile into the face of the needy.
Meanwhile, Liberation City donated 250,000, bags of rice, Noodles, drinks, toiletries and other items to the home, while Dr. Okafor personally donated half a million naira to little Oluwanimilo Afolabi for the operation of a cancerous tumor on the head of the little boy.
