Last Moments Of Sisi Quadri Revealed

The last moments of late thespian Quadri Oyebamiji popular as Sisi Quadri have been revealed.

Recall that the late actor passed on at Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso after a brief illness.

Revealing the details of how the actor died, Muftau Oyebamiji, his younger brother said that the family and his fans are still in shock.

In a video circulating on social media, Muftau expressed disbelief over the brief illness that claimed Sisi Quadri’s life.

He recounted that the actor had collapsed while shooting a movie on February 19, 2024, seeing him being immediately rushed to the hospital.

“They called us to say that he slumped at a movie location, we went to pick him and took him to the hospital for treatment,” said Muftau.

“He had sent money to us the previous day to mark the one-year remembrance anniversary of our mother who died on February 22, 2023. When our mother died he constructed a borehole water system to immortalize her.”

Further, Muftau said, “We took him to hospital, they conducted a test and told us that he was having malaria and he was treated. He left the hospital on February 26, 2024. He had also complained of an ulcer and he was equally treated.

“After he left the hospital, he was preparing to return to the location, but we opposed it. We told him that he needed to rest. We switched off his phone since he was brought back from the location.

“On the 28th, he developed hiccups, we took him to the hospital for treatment. But when the treatment yielded no result, he was referred to Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso on Thursday. While we were going, he gave us cash of N300,000 in his car and later transferred N1 million into our account in case we needed anything. He walked into the hospital himself but later died on Friday. The death of my brother is so unfortunate!”

Sisi Quadri was buried on Saturday in front of his house in the Agbowo area of the Iwo community as mourners gathered in thousands to pay their last respects to the movie star.
