Lamboginny creates awareness for one million-man march against drug abuse

It was a gathering of celebrities on Friday, October 18, as music artiste and National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), anti-drug abuse ambassador, Yinka Lawanson, popularly known as Lamboginny, kicked off awareness for his one million-man march against drug abuse in Lagos.
The event, which took place at Jevinik Restaurant, Isaac John Street, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos, had notable celebrities such as Beverly Osu of Big Brother Africa fame, actress, Laide Bakare, saxophonist, Yemi Sax, Skuki, Ruggedman and Ofoyeju Mitchell, thespokesperson of the NDLEA in attendance.
Lamboginny’s one million-man march; is expected to hold on Saturday, November 2, from Obalende through Awolowo Road to Tinubu Square, Lagos.
Speaking at the event, Mitchell said the aim of the national campaign is to sensitise Nigerians on the threat posed by drug crop cultivation, production and smuggling.
The artiste, was appointed an NDLEA ambassador after the agency spotted his burning passion for the campaign against drug abuse and trafficking.
