Political thugs in Ibeju Lekki Local Government Area of Lagos State have resorted to beating up electorates not voting for the ruling All Progressive Party (APC).
This come after Musiliu Akinsanya, the Chairman of the Lagos State Park’s Management Committee asked Igbos not willing to vote for APC to stay at home.
Voters in Onosa, Ibeju Lekki Local Government of Lagos State stormed their polling unit, but were told by stern looking men to either vote APC or leave the area.
A supporter of the APC who pleaded anonymity told this reporter that voters who as much as argue with the thugs were beaten up, while others were splashed with mud water.
When this reporter visited the polling unit, a cluster of people hoping to vote for opposition parties but could not were spotted discussing how to manage the situation.
