Choice society names and political eggheads gathered on Sunday, March 9, as Founder and Chairman of First City Monument Bank (FCMB), Otunba Michael Olasubomi Balogun celebrated his 80 birthday.
The finicky billionaire businessman’s party also attracted a lot of his family members, friends and business associates.
Plans for the party which took place in Lagos State had been ongoing for months, but came to a crescendo two weeks ago with all top management staffers of the bank’s Corporate Communication Department attending several presentation all aimed at ensuring a successful event.
Some of the faces at the classy shindig include Oba of Lagos, HRH Oba Riliwanu Akiolu, Lagos State First Lady Mrs. Abimbola Fashola, Chief Dele Momodu, Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, Founder of Zenith Bank Jim Ovia, Chief Femi Pedro, Evangelist Ebenezer Obey and many others.
The soiree commenced with a church service amid pump and garland before climaxing with a reception.
