Ladipo Market: Police Vow To Identify Man Shooting In Viral Video

The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has reacted to a trending video of a man in mufti firing shots from an AK-47 at Ladipo market today October 17.

In the video that is currently going viral, the man wearing blue jeans on a white t-shirt is seen firing shots as the traders celebrated the reopening of the market that was sealed by the Lagos State government on September 27 over environmental offences.

The man joined the traders to celebrate the reopening and in the process fired some shots into the air. It is unclear if he is a police officer.

In his reaction to the video, Adejobi who said that he doubts the man is a police officer added that he will be identified by the Lagos State Police Command and the needful will be done.
