The joy and happiness which heralded the announcement of Ladi Adebutu, member House of Representatives as Fiwagboye of Owode Yewa, Ogun State has faded.
Adebutu’s plan of adding another feather to his proverbial cap on Friday, February 24, was cut short following police invasion of the venue for the event, International market Owode Yewa, Ogun State.
Adebutu and his wife were supposed to be installed as Otunba Fiwagboye and Yeye Fiwagboye of Owodeland by Olu Of Owodeland, Oba Dr. Rev. Mathew Sunday Akindele, but the event didn’t hold, as policemen stormed the venue of the event.
Attempt to hold the installation ceremony at the Owode Town Hall was also scuttled, as the police led by the Area Commander, Titus Musa of the Ilaro Area Command again took over the venue with Adebutu looking perplexed.
