Labour Party (LP), has sacked its National Publicity Secretary, Abayomi Arabambi.
Untill his sack, Arabambi occupied the position in an acting capacity.
His sack comes barely two months before the 2023 general elections.
According to report, the party’s National Working Committee which took the decision on Friday, December 9, also dissolved the executives of the Ogun State chapter of the party.
It was gathered that the Ogun LP executives were involved in alleged anti-party activities.
Trouble in the Ogun State Labour Party started after the party’s state chairman announced the expulsion of the Director General of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council, Doyin Okupe.
The expulsion of Okupe which was subsequently nullified by the national executive led to the suspension of the state chairman, Michael Ashade, the Secretary, Feyisola Michael and the National Publicity Secretary, Abayomi Arabambi.
The trio were suspended for alleged gross misconduct and anti-party activities.
