Primate Elijah Ayodele, the Spiritual Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke Afa, Lagos, has revealed that he warned security agents in the country about the kidnapping of traditional rulers, but was ignored.
Recall that a Kwara monarch, Oba Salman Aweda, was recently kidnapped alongside his wife during an invasion of Olayinka Community in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

According to reports, the recently elevated monarch was kidnapped when heavily armed men stormed his palace, shooting sporadically to scare residents before taking him and two others to an unknown destination.
Reacting to news of the development, Primate Ayodele noted that it is unfortunate that his prophecies are not respected. According to him, he had alerted security agents about bomb attacks in Borno State, an attack on a church on Easter Sunday, and the new focus of terrorists in kidnapping traditional rulers. He, however, wondered why nothing was done about his warning.
“Terrorists will start kidnapping traditional rulers in some states that include Kebbi, Niger, Zamfara, Kano, Kogi (Lokoja axis), Ondo, Kwara, Akwa Ibom, Ebonyi, and Yobe, with concerns that the threat could also extend to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja,” Primate Ayodele noted that he had revealed.
