Halima el-Rufai, wife of Bashir el-Rufai, the son of the Kaduna State governor has told people telling her not to drink coffee because she is pregnant to keep their advice to themselves.
She stated this in a post on social media after she had been urged to stop drinking coffee.
“Thank you for all the kind words and messages. But please let’s avoid the unsolicited advice. I’m aware I am pregnant and so many people have messaged me about drinking coffee.
“You are allowed to drink coffee when you are pregnant as long as it doesn’t surpass a certain amount, ” she added wrote.
Bashir and Halima, daughter of former Senator from Jigawa State, Ibrahim Kazaure, are expecting their first child.
