Despite the heavy criticisms that trailed his promotion ahead of the release of his third album, KCee has gone on to drop the body of work.
Titled ‘Eastern Conference’, the Five Star Entertainment artist announced the album via an Instagram post on Friday, April 5.
“My 3rd album as a solo artiste is here! I am quite excited about this one. It was carefully curated to appreciate the Nigerian Culture! A careful mix of pop and highlife, the #EasternConference album is going to be timeless,” he wrote.
”Eastern Conference” attempts to blend the Igbo highlife with pop sound.
Prior to releasing the album, he put out a promotional single, Doh Doh Doh, to favourable reviews
In the road to the release of the album, the artist had been heavily criticized as a result of his past work.
KCee has struggled to release meaningful son’s since parting ways with Harrysong who was rumoured to be the brain behind most of his hit songs.
In an interview granted in March, Kcee, had revealed that he almost quit music.
His previously released albums are Attention To Detail and Takeover.
