Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat’s political career suffers setback*** As Jimi Agbaje, Muiz Banire are tipped to takeover from Fashola*** Plus details of why Hamzat will never be Lagos governor

As the race to determine who emerges the chosen candidate to represent All Progressive Congress (APC) in the forth-coming gubernatorial elections in Lagos hots up one of the names being bandied around has been struck off the favoured list by the godfather of APC in the south west, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Informed sources revealed to www.theoctopusnews.com, that the name of Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat is no longer considered a strong contender among those being tipped to represent the party in the election.
Our source; revealed that names such as Jimi Agbaje and Muiz Banire have been endorsed to lead Lagos in the next dispensation. Though Agbaje is not yet a card carrying member of APC, talks are currently underway to see him shift to the party.
We also heard that the withdrawal of the Lagos State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure was basically due to his seeming reckless lifestyle of being a spendthrift and a womaniser.
In recent times; Hamzat has been fingered in many negative issues such as his desperate attempt to buy over party stalwarts, his deliberate refusal to listen to the advice of his boss Fashola, his blackmail of Ikeja bike association to pay millions of naira per annum into his account before working in the axis, and the love child-care mess in which he was recently involved in.
The general assumption presently is that a man with the reputation of Hamzat is not fit to lead Lagos state.
