At different times, Godswill Akpabio has represented the interest of the people of Akwa Ibom both as a Governor and a Senator.
In recent times, the campaign to end his representation of their interest has been immense.
The latest of such is a call by elders of the state’s All Progressives Congress, (APC), under the aegis of Ibom Integrity Initiative (III).
According to the group, Akpabio is unfit to become a minister under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Throwing its weight behind a couple of names including Umana Umana, there are questions of the latter being able to represent effectively.
