Integrity Questions Trail Adron Homes Lemon Friday Promo

The legitimacy of Adron Homes Lemon Friday promotion has been questioned by prospective real estate investors.
This follows a series of complain and attacks by customers of the real estate firm who shared their awful experiences on social media.
In a series of social media posts, the customers called out Adron Homes for failing to deliver on numerous promises, including the allocation of lands even after payments had been made.
In the wake of the latest Lemon Friday promo which runs till the end of the year, intending customers have questioned the company’s integrity saying that even with the latest promotion, nothing is guaranteed.
In a statement titled “New Year Resolution: Take Advantage of the Adron Homes ‘Lemon Friday Promo’ Massive Discount”, the firm encouraged tenants to desist from renewing their rent, and   retaining their position as Chief Tenant after spending almost one decades in a house.
The statement further described the Chief Tenant as the peacemaker who solves any issues in the compound, stating that the Chief Tenant can easily transit to a landlord by taking advantage of this Christmas and New Year; Adron Homes and Properties Lemon Friday Promo which offers an opportunity of being an instant land owner at a very reduced price with a comfortable and affordable payment plan to help you build a home.
Though the offer appears attractive, especially as the firm offers both new and existing customer a 40 per cent discount while patrons can spread the balance within 24 months and get 5kg rice, chicken which applies to as low as a 30K initial deposit or more, the firm failed to give it’s customers assurance of its plans to stand through its offer, a legally recognized and accepted instrument that says a promise made is one kept, especially with the past record of the company.
Irked by this lacuna, prospective investors are insisting on a guarantee to avoid the treatment alleged to be peculiar with the Oba Adetola Emmanuel King-founded company.
In the past, Adron Homes had been alleged by customers of using deceptive marketing tactics to lure customers into purchasing properties, such as promising unrealistic returns on investment.
”Adron Homes is a fraudulent company. They allocated a piece of land in Shimawa, near the RCCG area, and gave a complementary bag of rice and keg of groundnut oil. Shimawa had experienced a developmental boost due to the presence of the Redeemed church. However, years after almost completing the payment, Adron Homes reallocated the land to an entirely different area, a proper tropical rainforest. This action seemed like a breach of agreement, so we decided to back out and requested a refund. Unfortunately, their terms and conditions booklet is heavily loaded in their favor, which protected them. They charged a huge percentage of the money as a default fee and even demanded we return the bag of rice and keg of groundnut oil we received before they refunded a ridiculous amount…” one of the customers, @Engr_Series, wrote.

“Adron wey collect money for my hand and tell me told me to oay 1.5m for development fee on half plot i just kuku dash dem d money Adron na fraud,” @vantundenani wrote.

In a report by Bizwatch Nigeria, a marketer of Adron Homes who pleaded anonymity was quoted to have said that a lot of people don’t have an idea of how real estate works.

According to him, Adron Homes has a policy that only those that are ready to build get their lands allocated to them.
”We don’t allocate lands to people until they are ready to build, and this is a transparent policy. It is clearly written in the documents we present to our clients. This is because we marketed these properties with the promise to provide social amenities, and security, amongst other things. Tell me, how do you want us to provide security for someone who has a house in one of our estates, but is surrounded by bushes because the land owners that are supposed to be his or her neighbour aren’t ready to build?” the marketer was quoted to have asked.
Another report published by https://omonaijablog.com.ng in 2023 appears to also support the allegations by customers.
The report is titled Adron Homes Is Fraudulent, Customers Drag Property Company, Share Dreadful Experiences.

Adron Homes prides itself as one of Nigeria’s leading real estate and property company with lands at Ibeju-Lekki, Epe, Badagry, Ede Osun, Ado Ekiti, Shimawa, Atan-Ota, Ikorodu, Shagamu, Papalanto, Ijebu Ode, Abeokuta, Ibadan, Abuja Nasarawa, and Niger States.
