Respected immigration lawyer, Dr. Ope Banwo on Friday, March 24, gave out his daughter in matrimony.
The founder of Gisthouse, Naija Lives Matter among others shutdown Nebraska, Omaha, USA, in a colourful ceremony as his daughter Dr. Temitope Banwo tied the nuptial knot with her lover of long-standing, Michael Gould.
The traditional affair saw Dr. Banwo’s lovely caucasian in-laws dressed in a range of beautiful Nigerian attires.
With smiles allover their faces, there was no denying the fact that the Goulds enjoyed the show of Nigerian and Yoruba culture that heralded the celebration.
Typical of everything Dr. Banwo touches, the celebration was a masterpiece with the caliber of notable individuals in attendance.
Also, the food and drinks were top-notch and delivered by some of the best caterers available.
With the traditional wedding done, all is now set for the church wedding and other pre-wedding celebrations.
“We are very proud of our Yoruba culture and happy that our new in-laws understood how important our culture is and worked with us to go through all the complicated but colorful and rich ceremonies,” Dr. Banwo said in appreciation of guests who joined him and his family for the celebration of his daughter.
