Sometimes, it is very hard to let go of old passions.

This explains why people fall in love with a particular project and dwell on it for years through thick and thin.

For the visionary entrepreneur and youth leader par excellence, Idris Aregbe, his passion is the development of tourism; hence he continues to promote the industry via Culturati, Africa’s largest cultural fusion.

Over the years, Culturati has become popular for redefining the world’s perception of Africa’s culture, boosting tourism development, and attracting foreign investors.

This year, the event will provide a platform to synergise African culture and that of other continents to foster strong collaborations and explore the rich diversities of different cultures, giving Africa especially Nigeria the edge to become a destination for tourists.

Slatted for Saturday, December 18, the event themed ‘Unleashing African Potentials’ will hold at Amore Gardens in Lekki.

Programme of the event includes a red carpet show with other side attractions such as arts and cultural fair, symposium, fashion show and runway, music and dance, drama, cocktail, special recognition, and awards.

The 13th edition of the event also serves as an avenue to introduce the movie ‘This Is Lagos,’ designed to showcase landmarks, tourism, and investment opportunities in Lagos State.
