2018 Headies nominee, Zoro, has refuted claims that his music sounds like that of indigenous rapper, Phyno.
He said that it would have been hard to be nominated for the ‘Next Rated’ category of the 2018 Headies if his music sounded like that of Phyno.
“This is me sounding like me and not sounding like anyone. People are always obsessed with anything that comes out first if you are opportune to be the one to change the trend. If you do ‘shaku shaku’ for instance, people will say you are sounding like Slimcase or Mr. Real,” he said while explaining his kind of music.
