I Fear Police Brutality-Runtown

Pop musician, Runtown, has revealed his fear for police brutality.
The Redemption singer fears that he might just be a victim of police brutality or even lose a loved one to it.
“My heart has recently been replete with rumblings as a result of fear. Fear for my safety and perhaps more intense, the fear of losing a loved one to what has now become an unceasing demonstration of negligence by some officers of the Nigeria Police Force,” he said.
The Soundgod Music Group artiste also added that it is insecurity that has seen celebrities employing men of the force to protect them from fellow officers.
Reacting to the recent arrest of Naira Marley and Zlatan Ibile by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Runtown stated that internet-based crime is at an all-time high, adding that legitimately conducted internet-based businesses are also at an all-time high.
In recent times, several celebrities have complained about harassment by men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), with a lot of them calling for the squad to be scraped.
