Mayokun Adewale Mayowa Emanuel might be an emerging artiste, but he is already making plans for his future mentee.
According to the ‘Eleko’ singer, he would always want his mentee to be better than him.
Asked if he would ever be jealous of his mentee when they start doing better than him, Mayorkun answered “Never. I would rather want them to be better than me,” he said.
Mayorkun, who already has credit for singles such as ‘Love You Tire’, ‘Sade’, ‘Back 2 Back’, ‘Tonight’, ‘Blessing’, ‘Mama’, ‘Touchdown’, and several others, is signed to Davido Music Worldwide (DMW). He broke into the music scene in 2016 when he dropped his single ‘Eleko’, a song that caught the attention of Davido who later signed him unto his label.
