The details of how a mother of two was stabbed to death by suspected armed robbers have emerged.
According to available information, the deceased named Uchechi Ogoke was stabbed to death by unknown persons.
Two of her children were also injured by suspected armed robbers in Ihitte Uboma Local Government area in Imo State on Tuesday, June 30.
An eyewitness revealed that early today, neighbours of the woman whose husband is based in Malaysia woke up to see her in a pool of her own blood.
According to the eyewitness, her two kids and the house help were also seriously injured. The eyewitness revealed that the unidentified persons also took away her ATM card.
The police were invited and her body has been evacuated and deposited in the mortuary.
Spokesperson of the state police command, SP Orlando Ikeokwu, confirmed the incident, adding that an investigation into the incident has commenced.
”The persons broke into her house through the window with a gun and a matchete. They beat her and stabbed her all over her body until she gave up the ghost. They stole her jewelries and the sum of N28, 000” Ikeokwu
