Afrobeat musician, Femi Kuti, might just have embarrassed the Lagos state government following some of his comments.
According to information confirmed by Femi Kuti, the French President Emmanuel Macron was told that the road leading to the New African Shrine was renovated by the Lagos state government due to his visit.
Femi Kuti on his IG page told one of his followers that the visiting French President, Emmanuel Macron, was told that the Lagos state government fixed the road leading to the shrine just because he was coming on a visit.
The musician disclosed this when one of his followers challenged him in his comment section.
The road leading to the shrine was renovated, as was the shrine allegedly renovated by the state government. The management of the shrine also allegedly received a generator to power the club on the night of the event.
The road to the shrine has been deplorable for a very longtime and with several businesses located in the axis lamenting its state.
