The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde inspected the state’s borders with neighbouring states today.
Inspecting the borders with Ogun in Bakatari and Dalley town, among others, he commended the frontline security officers while declaring that the state government will make security officers manning the border points more comfortable.
Governor Makinde added that the compliance level in some borders inspected were 100 percent, while full compliance is yet to be achieved in some other borders.
The governor also noted that the state will ensure strict compliance with the inter-state lockdown order agreed upon by Governors of the South-West states to contain the spread of the novel Coronavirus.
