The once familiar struggle to purchase PMS resurfaced some days ago with long queues returning to fuel stations across the nation.

Though the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), has blamed the latest fuel scarcity on logistics, adding that everything had been put in place, this has not improved the situation of things for the residents of axis such as Jakande,  Ibeju Lekki, Awoyaya, Songotedo among others.

The situation has thus led to a 50 per cent increment in transport fare as transporter blame their actions on the scarcity, even as the price of PMS ranges between N645 and N700.

Meanwhile, the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, (IPMAN), has said that the petrol scarcity being experienced currently will last for two weeks.
