Though his initial shot at being the first citizen of Anambra State in 2015 was unproductive, his followers hoped for a better result in 2019, when he would be able to contest on a better platform and as a more popular candidate.
Contesting the recently held Abia State gubernatorial election on the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), the former bank executive probably thought that he would achieve his dream.
However, like 2015, Otti failed. Since the election, he has maintained a graveyard kind of silence.
