If you bank with First Bank of Nigeria PLC (FBN), this is the time to be worried and start thinking of withdrawing all the money in your account.

Information made available to www.theoctopusnews.com, has it that the duo of All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and business mogul Otunba Mike Adenuga have both sealed a deal that has seen them silently take over FBN Plc.

A source within the bank, revealed that the move is to ensure a regular supply of cash for Tinubu and APC, as the 2015 election year sets in.

Knowing the free spending attitude of Tinubu, it won’t be wrong to say that the situation which involved now defunct Societe Generale Bank, where depositors money were used to finance elections is set to happen again, but this time in First Bank.

www.theoctopusnews.com, was also informed that it was in a bid to secure Tinubu’s interest and ensure that he has an up to date flow of information on the activities in the bank that he asked former Lagos State Commissioner for Finance, Tokunboh Abiru, to resign his appointment and take up the job of Executive Director of First Bank of Nigeria Plc.

That Abiru resigned as commissioner of Finance Lagos State, on June 8, was employed at First Bank on June 19, resumed proper on August 1, and was nominated in a letter date June 26 from the FBN Holdings Plc to serve as a Director on its Board confirms our story, as it all happened in a twinkle of an eye.

This is the time for those who have money in First Bank to start withdrawing their it and enmass too, as the tales and scars of the victims of Societe Generale Bank whose money were used to finance elections still remains.

Efforts to get a reaction from First Bank spokespersons Folake Ani-Mumuney proved abortive as she did not respond to text messages sent to her mobile phone with the number 08025339***.
