Fatima Ajimobi Reflects On Her Marriage
Marital bliss is not a joke and this is why Fatima Ajimobi appreciates it.
For the lady who got married in 2018, it has been a journey worthwhile.
Recall that the daughter of Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, got married to Idris Ajimobi, son of former Oyo State Governor in 2018.
Reflecting on her marriage and her husband’s birthday, Fatima had sweet words to express her happiness.
In a post on Instagram on Sunday, April 19, the fair-complexioned beauty recalled the stress she went through during their wedding in March 2018, adding that their marital journey has been blissful and peaceful.
“My Idris, I remember this day, crystal clear. Our Nikkah was just concluded and I had barely gotten enough rest or sleep.
“I also remember getting a call that you were on your way to me and I immediately looked in the mirror. Yikes! I looked tired! So I told you, please come back after the Nikkah Reception but you said no, you said you have just become my wife and I need to look you in the eye just to make sure I’m not dreaming.
“Our journey began and it’s been bliss and peace ever since. Thank you and happy birthday,” she wrote.
Recall that Fatima got married in a highly colourful twin marriage celebration which was attended by President Muhammadu Buhari and other dignitaries.
The first leg of the high-profile wedding held in Kano, while the second leg held in Oyo State.
President Buhari, who stood for the groom gave out N50,000 dowry to All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader, Bola Tinubu, who represented the bride at the occasion.
Also in attendance were the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; the late Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari; and Senior Special Assistant to President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.
