Farida Waziri’s Bubble Burst
A return after a long period off radar should attract positive accolades and encomium.
This was what ex-chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Farida Waziri and her associates had expected when her biography “Farida Waziri: One Step Ahead” became a talking point in the social sphere.
However, like when the woman was the head of EFCC, controversy is what has trailed her and the book, since it became available for public consumption.
An indictment of former President Goodluck Jonathan has further seen the book which was recently launched being discredited.
Waziri was trailed by controversial circumstances including allegations of corruption prior to her sack by President Jonathan in 2011
