Wizkid failed to re-enact the form that saw him winning the Best International Act Africa in 2012.
The artiste was nominated for the 2015 edition of the award alongside names such as Yemi Alade, Stonebwoy, The Soil and Fally Ipupa.
The category was won by Stonebwoy. Stonebwoy is the stage name of Livingstone Etse Satekla, a Ghanaian Afro-pop, dancehall and reggae artiste.
Stonebwoy emerged ‘Artiste of the Year’ in the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
He is credited for songs such as Climax, Pull Up, Ghetto Love, Kwenaamu and Ex Boyfriend.
