The Jungle Story is one event which fans of Sound Sultan cant wait to attend. Organised to celebrate the singer’s 18th year anniversary as a performer, it is a must attend.
The event being put together to celebrate the singer is considered star-studded. Tagged ‘Jungle Story’, the stage show is expected to feature a number of top Nigerian actors, comedians and musicians.
Legendary actor, Jimi Sholanke, will come out of retirement to play the role of a narrator in the stage production scheduled for Friday, October 12 and Sunday, October 14th, at the iconic Terra Kulture.
The A-list celebrities on the line-up include Richard Mofe-Damijo, Wale Ojo, Ali Baba, Mr Ibu, Helen Paul, Kunle Afolayan, Reekado Banks, Seyi Shay, 2baba, Simi, Niniola, and Kate Henshaw.
Others are Basketmouth, Harrysong, Gbenga Adeyinka, Emmanuella, Ramsey Nouah, Bovi, Lasisi Elenu, MC Lively, Broda Shaggi, Segun Adefila, Falz, Okey Bakassi, Olamide and Baba Dee.
Describing the event, Sound Sultan said “Art, as they say, is the imitation of life and that’s exactly what the Jungle Story is about.”
“It’s still the same story of the poor getting poorer and rich getting richer. I am trying to use my music and art to influence the society in a very creative way that will hold the audience spellbound.”
