The special day is the date for the coronation of the new Olu of Warri, Omoba Prince Tsola Emiko.

Typically, the coronation will hold amidst pomp and pageantry with top personalities from different works of life expected to grace the event.

The prince will be crowned the 21st Olu of the Warri Kingdom, as he ascends the throne of his forefathers.

Already, Warri Kingdom is wearing an air of celebration with indigenes and visitors anticipating the big day.

The road to Prince Emiko’s coronation has not been without controversies, as there were talks of his not being qualified to become the next Olu because his mother is neither from Itsekiri nor of Edo origin.
