It was a rain of cash at Esan West Local Government of Edo State, as suspected All Progressives Congress, (APC), leaders were spotted theowing cash in the air.
The action follows the beginning of voting in the Edo 2020 gubernatorial election.
An eyewitness reported that the men were seen on Saturday throwing money at some group of voters, mostly women.
Voters at polling units 9, 10, 11, in Ward 4, Esan West electorate were seen fighting over the cash.
Report has it that the money was brought in by party leaders as a way of swaying the voters to vote for APC.
