Edo 2020 Live: INEC Officially Releases Edo Gubernatorial Election Result

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has  announced the official results of the Edo State gubernatorial election held on Saturday, September 19.
Presently, 16 of the 18 local governments in Edo State have been announced.
Results announced shows that the incumbent governor, Godwin Obaseki of the PDP has 288,572 votes while Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the APC has 202,525 votes.
Results are presently being expected from Orhionmwon, the local government of Mr Ize-Iyamu where there was reportedly a violent incident which saw an INEC official being shot.

As at this morning, Sunday, September 20, Obaseki led all 14 candidates in the election.
