DSS: We Lost Two Personnel In IPOB Attack

The Department of State Services (DSS) has revealed that it lost two personnel in the attack by the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
In a statement released on Sunday, August 23, by Peter Afunanya, spokesperson for the DSS, he said that the attack that occurred in Emene, Enugu State cost them two lives.
According to Afunanya, the attack was unprovoked, as he added that efforts were being made to ensure the killers face justice.
“The Service lost two personnel in what was clearly an unprovoked violent attack launched by IPOB on the team,” Afunaya said.
The DSS stated that there is an ongoing investigation aimed at arresting everyone involved in this attack. The agency condoled with families of the departed officers and also prayed for the repose of their souls.
